The Ministry of Agriculture has directed all Agro-dealers intending to participate in the Farmer Input Support Programme under the E-Voucher modality for the 2026/2027 farming season to submit complete and correct documentation for verification and approval into the Zambia Integrated Agriculture Management Information System.

Ministry Principal Public Relations Officer Balewa Zyuulu said the 2026/2027 programme would be implemented in all 116 districts across the country.

In a statement issued in Lusaka on Tuesday, Zyuulu said the submission of full and accurate documents was a mandatory requirement under the FISP E-Voucher programme.

He stated that this was essential to ensure proper vetting, approval, and seamless participation in the forthcoming farming season.

Zyuulu urged Agro-dealers to ensure all required documents were submitted in full and in the correct format to avoid delays or disqualification.

He advised that incomplete or incorrect submissions would not be processed.

“All applicants are encouraged to strictly adhere to the established guidelines and regulatory requirements as communicated through official channels governing the FISP E-Voucher implementation framework,” Zyuulu said.

He added that the Ministry would also conduct a comprehensive training programme for all approved and prospective agro-dealers under the FISP E-Voucher Programme.

Zyuulu stated that dates would be communicated in July 2026 and the trainings would be conducted in all ten provincial headquarters across the country.

“This programme is aimed at strengthening the capacity of agro-dealers and relevant officers in preparation for the 2026/2027 farming season,” he said.

Zyuulu said the training would focus on systems compliance, operational procedures, and improved service delivery within the FISP E-Voucher agricultural input supply chain.

“The Ministry of Agriculture remains committed to supporting all stakeholders in the agricultural sector and ensuring a smooth and successful 2026/2027 farming season,” he assured.
