Zambia’s Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has increased petrol and diesel prices for November, citing rising international oil prices and a weaker kwacha.
Petrol will now sell at K33.60 per litre, up from K31.46, while diesel has increased to K34.45 from K33.27 per litre.
The price of kerosene has also risen to K32.08 per litre from K29.96, while Jet A-1 has increased to K34.51 from K31.85 per litre.
In a statement on Saturday, ERB Board Chairperson, James Banda, said international oil prices generally maintained an upward trend during the review period due to sustained geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Banda said the average price of petrol increased to US$125.84 per barrel from US$121.58, while kerosene and Jet A-1 rose to US$153.22 from US$144 per barrel.
However, the average price of diesel declined to US$154.71 per barrel from US$160.68.
“During the same period the Zambian Kwacha weakened against the United States Dollars and depreciated by more than three percent,” Banda said.
He said the combined changes in international oil prices and the depreciation of the kwacha were the main factors considered in determining the November fuel pump prices.
The new prices took effect at midnight on October 31, 2026, and will remain in force until the next monthly price review.
