Moroccan-founded advertising technology startup Journify has secured $12 million in Series A funding to accelerate its expansion into the United States and Europe while strengthening the artificial intelligence capabilities of its advertising data platform.
The investment values the company at four times its previous valuation, reflecting growing investor confidence in its technology and international growth prospects.
Tech in Africa reports that the funding round was led by Al Mada Ventures, with returning investor Silicon Badia serving as co-lead.
Existing investors Shorooq and Bunat Ventures also participated, alongside new backers Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital.
Founded in 2022 by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki, Journify develops advertising data infrastructure that helps businesses collect, validate and securely transmit customer conversion information to digital advertising platforms.
Its technology integrates with major advertising platforms, including Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Amazon Ads, enabling companies to improve how they manage and measure digital marketing performance.
Customer conversion information helps advertisers understand how users respond to campaigns, including actions such as purchases, registrations and other activities that indicate customer engagement.

By improving the quality and transmission of this information, Journify aims to help businesses make more informed advertising decisions and improve the effectiveness of their marketing activities.
The company currently serves more than 100 businesses and operates from headquarters in Morocco and San Francisco, with additional offices in Dubai and Riyadh.
Its presence across multiple markets provides a foundation for the planned expansion into the United States and Europe.
The new funding will also support further development of its artificial intelligence capabilities as the company works to strengthen its advertising data infrastructure and broaden its customer base.
As businesses increasingly rely on digital advertising to attract customers, reliable conversion information has become an important component of campaign measurement and optimisation.
