Copperbelt UPND chieftain, Matambo, says President Hichilema determined to impact Zambians

Copperbelt United Party for National Development (UPND) Chairperson, Elisha Matambo, says the ruling party will not abandon the people of Zambia.

Matambo, who on Sunday opened the constituency office in Kitwe’s Kamfinsa said President Hakainde Hichilema was determined to resolve key challenges facing the Zambian people.

“We have a challenge of erratic supply of water in Kitwe, your government is doing something to alleviate the suffering of the people, very soon the challenge will be over. The government has released the money to Nkana Water and Sanitation Company,” he assured.

On the political front, Matambo said the ruling party would like to see the opening of Constituency offices across the Copperbelt to be in touch with the grass roots.

He stressed that the party in power wanted to continue interacting with the grass roots who had put them in power.

Matambo said the idea was to get all the 22 constituency on the Copperbelt and that would mean getting in touch with the people while ensuring that the policies of the government were well implemented.

Matambo who is Copperbelt Minister was accompanied to the unveiling of the Constituency office by provincial, district and constituency officials on the Copperbelt among others.
