Former Chipolopolo striker, Given Singuluma, and three others have taken Leopard Hill Football Club to court over unpaid salaries and benefits amounting to more than K600,000.
Singuluma, along with Boyd Mapalo Mulenga, Bright Shikapande, and Justine Chinama, filed a lawsuit in the Lusaka High Court, accusing the club of breaching contractual obligations, including non-payment of salaries, bonuses, gratuity, and leave pay.
Leopard Hill FC, a National League team, and its chairperson, Chikwuka Oputa, have been cited as first and second defendants, respectively.

According to a statement of claim filed by Suba, Tafeni and Associates, the four were engaged on two-year contracts in June 2024, with monthly salaries ranging between K6,000 and K40,000.
The plaintiffs alleged that since the commencement of their contracts, the club had failed to pay their agreed dues.
Singuluma, who served as assistant coach, is claiming K117,000 in unpaid salary, while Mulenga, the kit master, is demanding K67,000.
Shikapande, who was employed as second assistant coach, is owed K124,000, and Chinama, the head coach, is claiming K360,000.
Together, the four are demanding a total of K668,000, in addition to match bonuses, gratuity, and leave pay.
They contend that despite performing their duties with diligence and contributing to team successes, the club not only defaulted on payments but also suspended them on what they describe as “frivolous charges” pending investigation.
“The continued refusal to pay what we are owed has not only caused financial hardship but also emotional stress for us and our families,” they stated.
The plaintiffs further claimed that a formal demand letter was served to the club, but it was ignored.
They are now seeking full payment of the outstanding amount, damages for breach of contract, and interest.
