Melu x-rays Zambia’s business landscape, urges international investors to explore opportunities

Mizinga Melu, Absa Managing Director, has implored investors in the United States of America to continue investing in Zambia as it unlocks potential of its thriving economy.

Melu told the business executives that Zambia was set and ready for an economic expansion following various opportunities the country holds for investment.

She said this when she featured on an Economic Outlook Business Forum organised by the United States of America Chamber of Commerce to discuss Zambia’s readiness for foreign investment recently.

She shared her views about the Zambian business landscape and explored strategies for success, including how the country was ready to unlock the potential of its thriving economic sector.

“Government has implemented several economic reforms aimed at improving the business environment and promoting investment.

“These includes reforms in taxation, investment promotion, and the ease of doing business,” Melu said.

Meanwhile, United States vice president for the chamber of commerce Kendra Gather, commended Zambia for the positive economic development and committed to bringing US companies into Zambia.
