Police in the North-Western Province have arrested 259 suspects in connection with the mob killing of Eneless Hellen Kamutumbe (46) at Kisasa Market in Kalumbila District.
Authorities allege that the suspects were involved in the violent attack that led to Kamutumbe’s death. Of those arrested, 163 are male and 96 are female.

The incident has shocked local residents and leaders, sparking widespread condemnation and calls for justice, as well as for enhanced security measures in the area.
Police investigations are ongoing, with the suspects remaining in custody to assist with further inquiries.
