“These changes apply only to the Mfuwe Constituency in Lavushimanda District, Muchinga Province,” Kasaro clarified.

He recalled that the Commission had previously announced, in a statement issued on May 30, 2025, that nominations for the Mfuwe Constituency and three ward by-elections would take place on June 10, 2025, with voting set for July 10, 2025.

Meanwhile, the three ward by-elections—in Ngweshi Ward of Kalulushi District (Copperbelt Province), Kimasala Ward of Solwezi District (North-Western Province), and Mang’unza Ward of Choma District (Southern Province)—will proceed as originally scheduled. Nominations will be held on June 10, with polling on July 10, 2025.

Kasaro encouraged all stakeholders to take note of the revised schedule and reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to credible, transparent, and participatory elections.
