The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has unveiled new members of its standing committees, with the notable inclusion of former FAZ president, Kalusha Bwalya, and legendary striker Kenneth ‘Bubble’ Malitoli in the National Team Technical Sub-Committee.
According to a statement issued by FAZ Communications Manager, Sydney Mungala, former FAZ Technical Director, Honour Janza has been appointed to the Football Development Committee.
The National Team Technical Sub-Committee also includes seasoned coaches, Dan Kabwe and Patrick Phiri.
FAZ General Secretary, Reuben Kamanga, said the appointments followed wide-ranging consultations with key stakeholders in the football fraternity.
He emphasized that the new committees reflected the wealth of experience and expertise required to steer Zambian football forward.
“Following wider consultations with various football stakeholders, we wish to share the newly constituted committees that will be crucial in steering our football forward. The candidates were thoroughly scrutinized and deemed best suited to add value to our game,” Kamanga stated.

The Referees Committee will be chaired by respected former FIFA referee Gladys Lengwe, with Janny Sikazwe serving as her deputy.
Kamanga added that appointments to the remaining committees would be announced in due course.
