Green Eagles Head Coach, Perry Mutapa, says his side is prepared for a midweek league match against Green Buffaloes FC, as the team looks to build on recent performances.
Mutapa said preparations had gone smoothly, adding that recent fixtures provided a solid build-up to the encounter.
He said the team’s performances this season had often been stronger than results suggested, pointing to missed scoring opportunities.
“Taking responsibility in scoring is the final piece,” Mutapa said, adding that improved composure could have resulted in higher margins of victory.

The coach said the team has already achieved its primary objective of avoiding relegation after surpassing the 40-point mark.
“Mathematically, the teams in the relegation zone can no longer catch us. Our new target is to maximise points in the remaining games and finish in a respectable position,” he said.
Mutapa said the team would rely on its squad depth despite injury concerns affecting several players, including Stophira Sunzu, Kunda Nkandu and goalkeeper Silavwe.
The match will be played at Edwin Imboela Stadium on Wednesday.
