Nakacinda cautions PF members to stay vigilant over threats by UPND cadres

Patriotic Front (PF) spokesperson, Raphael Nakacinda, has urged the party members to be strong and alert at all times as their lives may be in danger.

Nakacinda alleged this was because the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) has waged a war of violence against them.

He cited videos that went viral on social media of UPND cadres making all sorts of threats against the PF as evidence of his claims.

Nakacinda said this in Chililabombwe after the PF candidate for the Chitimukulu by-election, Donald Mwape, successfully filed in his nominations on Friday.

“We urge all PF members on the Copperbelt to take this by-election very seriously and deliver victory for the party.

“Let everyone in the province participate to protect the votes, do not allow the oppressors to be in charge steal the votes,” he said.

And speaking at the same event, former Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo said the by-election for the Chitimukulu ward was going to be a walkover because the sufferings of people would speak for the PF.

He said Zambians should not repeat the mistakes they made in 2021 by kicking out a political party that meant well for them.

“You the people of Chililabombwe should send a signal of what was going to happen in 2026 to the UPND so that they should know that PF was bouncing back,” he said.
