Nchanga Rangers Football Club has confirmed the departure of eight players as part of its squad restructuring efforts ahead of the new season.
In an official statement issued by Media and Public Relations Officer Andrew Ukwimi, the club announced that it had parted company with five players by mutual consent. The departing players are:
Justin Daka (Midfielder)
Kelvin Tembo (Attacking Midfielder)
Sharp Chikondi (Central Defender)
Flobby Mashakalati (Goalkeeper)
Benson Mwale (Goalkeeper)
“The club appreciates their valuable contributions and wishes them the very best in their future endeavors,” the statement read.

Additionally, the club confirmed that it will not be renewing the contracts of the following players, whose terms expired at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
Bright Kafula Mukuka (Midfielder)
Gift Sikaonga (Left Back)
Taonga Bwembya (Right Back)
Nchanga Rangers expressed gratitude for the trio’s service and commitment, and extended well wishes for their future.
“To our valued fans, supporters, and club associates, we assure you that management remains fully committed to building a competitive team that will bring success and pride to our community,” Ukwimi added.
He also stated that the club will continue to keep its supporters updated on all key developments.
