Our attention has been drawn to a Zambia Monitor story titled, ‘Labour Minister, Tambatamba, condemns growing intimidation, victimization of women,’ published on 5th June, 2025, which incorrectly attributed statements to Honourable Brenda Tambatamba.
We sincerely apologize to the Minister for any distress or reputational harm caused. The story has since been pulled down, and we regret this slip which was neither borne out of malice nor intended.
We would like to reassure the Honorable Minister that our commitment to responsible journalism is unwavering, as clearly shown in Zambia Monitor’s past coverages of the activities of the Labour ministry.
