Zambian rapper, Triple M, has set tongues wagging after featuring his baby mama, Comfort Chawezi, in the music video for his latest track Tepapa, a soulful collaboration with Frank Ro.
Chawezi, daughter of late music legend Dandy Krazy, makes a heartfelt appearance in the video — a move Triple M said was a personal tribute to her constant support through life’s ups and downs.
“Chawezi has always stood by me through thick and thin,” Triple M told Kalemba. “People love to speculate when they don’t see you together publicly, but that doesn’t mean there’s trouble.”
The rapper, real name Misheck Mambwe Musonda, added that he chose Chawezi over professional models to show his love and gratitude, calling her “the mother of my child and my biggest supporter.”
Addressing comparisons to Yo Maps’ Mr. and Mrs. video featuring Kidist, Triple M clarified he shot Tepapa long before Yo Maps released his, calling the timing a “coincidence.”
While the video marks a rare glimpse into his personal life, Triple M says he’s happy to keep his love life private for now, though future collaborations with Chawezi remain a possibility.
“My focus is on making good music and growing as an artist,” he added.
