The King of Morocco appoints El Yazid Er-Radi Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Ulema

His Majesty the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, Commander of Faithful, received, on Tuesday 14 April 2026 at the Royal Palace of Rabat, M. Mohamed Yssef, the former Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Ulema, whom the Sovereign decorated with the Wissam Al Arch (Grand Officer), in consideration of the commendable services he rendered to his Religion, his Fatherland and his King, in the various missions and responsibilities he assumed.

Subsequently, His Majesty the King received M. El Yazid Er-Radi, whom the Sovereign appointed Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Ulema.

On this occasion, His Majesty the King, Commander of Faithful, issued His High Orientations to Mr. Er-Radi so that the Council can carry out its missions in promoting the Holy Muslim religion, imbued with the values of the middle path and moderation, and the preservation of the religious constants of the Kingdom.
