ZANACO has partnered with Liquid Intelligent Technologies to advance innovation and develop digital, financial, and inclusive solutions for customers across Zambia.
As part of the collaboration, ZANACO announced the deployment of its Xpress agents in six selected Liquid Home Stores across Lusaka and the Copperbelt.
Announcing the initiative, ZANACO Board Chairperson, Professor Oliver Saasa, said the partnership highlighted the bank’s commitment to making banking more accessible, seamless, and responsive to Zambia’s evolving digital landscape.

“Today marks the official launch of our partnership with Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a collaboration that demonstrates our commitment to bringing convenience, accessibility, and cutting-edge technology directly to our customers,” Professor Saasa said.
He also revealed that ZANACO’s agency banking network has grown to over 31,000 agents nationwide, enabling financial services to reach even the most remote communities.
“Our Xpress in-store model further demonstrates this commitment. By embedding agents within our partners’ stores, we are redefining customer engagement and making banking services more accessible and convenient,” he added.
Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia Chief Executive Officer, Mark Townsend, said the partnership was focused on convenience, inclusion, and opportunity.
“This collaboration brings together our respective strengths to deliver better services to Zambian consumers,” Townsend said.
He noted that ZANACO customers would now be able to access Liquid’s connectivity services while conducting in-store banking.
“Both Liquid and ZANACO customers can now deposit or withdraw cash and top up their LTE internet accounts at the same convenient locations,” Townsend said.
He also reiterated the company’s commitment to expanding digital opportunities and bridging connectivity gaps across Zambia.
“It has 26 Home Stores in high-traffic malls across the country, and a 110,000-kilometre fibre network across Africa. By empowering our customers with connectivity and digital solutions by, we proudly contribute to building a connected Africa that leaves no one behind,” he said.
