Zambia stole the spotlight at the Closing Ceremony of the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) in Algiers after being named winner of the Best Stand Design in the country and organisation category.

The recognition came during the Stand Awards, which marked the end of a week-long showcase of Africa’s creativity, trade potential, and cultural diversity.

The Zambian pavilion stood out for its bold design and compelling storytelling, capturing the essence of the nation’s trade and investment opportunities while celebrating its cultural identity.

Organisers said the award reflected Zambia’s ability to blend innovation with a strong national narrative, making it one of the fair’s most memorable exhibits.

Other honours went to Mota-Engil Group for Best Stand Design in the individual entity category, Nigeria for Best Stand for Doing Business, Zimbabwe for Best Stand Feature, and Ogun State Government for Most Sustainable Stand.

ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (ARISE IIP) was recognised as the Most Innovative Stand, while Algeria’s Ministry of Culture and Arts received the Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) Award.

Fiat Stellantis rounded off the list with the Africa Automotive Show Award.

These stands show how Africa tells its own trade story—with creativity, sustainability, and ambition.

For Zambia, the accolade not only reaffirmed its growing stature on the continental stage but also highlighted its commitment to showcasing opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area.
