One of the accused, Siuluta, is facing additional charges of assaulting a police officer and theft.

Siuluta is also accused of stealing a HP laptop with a 500GB hard drive valued at K8,500, property of the UPND.

During proceedings, defence counsel Jonas Zimba informed the court that the defence intended to make an application relating to counts three and four, arguing that the two charges appeared to be similar in nature.
