President Hakainde Hichilema has terminated, with immediate effect, the appointment of Charity Munganga as Deputy Inspector General of Police in Charge of Administration at the Zambia Police Service, the presidency has announced.
The decision has been made pursuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia, according to State House Chief Communications Specialist , Clayson Hamasaka.

According to the statement issued by Hamasaka in Lusaka on Sunday, Munganga was serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police in Charge of Administration.
“President Hichilema has expressed gratitude to Ms. Munganga for her service to the Government of the Republic of Zambia,” he said.
Hamasaka said the President had further wished her well in her future endeavours.
