Nkana Football Club has confirmed a new technical bench ahead of the forthcoming season, with appointments approved by the club’s Executive Committee.
The club announced Elijah Tana as Head Coach to lead the senior team and would be assisted by Josphat Nkhoma as First Assistant Coach in the new setup.
Nkana FC Chief Executive Officer Mwansa Kapyanga confirmed the appointments in a statement issued in Lusaka on Sunday.
Donashano Malama has also been appointed as Second Assistant Coach to complete the coaching team.
Michael Poto will continue in his role as Goalkeeper Coach at the club.
“Michael Poto will continue in his role as Goalkeeper Coach, while Simon Bwalya will remain Senior Team Physical Trainer,” Kapyanga stated.

He said the appointments were approved by the Executive Committee at its meeting held on Friday.
Kapyanga said the appointments followed the club’s assessment of its technical and performance requirements.
“We are confident in the technical team we have assembled and believe they possess the qualities required to drive the club forward and satisfy the club’s sporting and strategic parameters,” he said.
The Nkana Chief Executive Officer expressed confidence that the technical team met the club’s sporting and strategic parameters adding that the technical bench had the full support of the club’s leadership.
“Nkana Football Club wishes the technical bench success as preparations for the forthcoming season continue,” Kapyanga stated.
