Kabwe Warriors Football Club has announced the appointment of George Chilufya as the new Head Coach and Jackson Mwanza as his Assistant Coach.
The duo, who both join from Trident Football Club, have signed two-year contracts, according to a statement issued in Kabwe on Tuesday.
Kabwe Warriors Chairperson, Clyde Muleya, expressed confidence in the new technical bench, noting that the pair’s experience and tactical insight would be key to driving the team forward.
“We have great expectations from you and your assistant. With your vast experience and winning mentality, we want to win the league this coming season,” Muleya said.

He added that the club was optimistic that the duo would make a strong impact and guide Kabwe Warriors to new heights.
In his remarks, newly appointed Head Coach, George Chilufya, expressed gratitude to the Chairperson and Executive Committee for the opportunity to lead the club.
“This is a club with great history, and I am very happy to be here to face the challenge ahead. Football justice is winning—even as we plan and prepare, we are here to win,” Chilufya stated.
