“I write to formally tender my resignation from my position as National Deputy Chairperson for Mobilization and Member of the Communications Committee under the United Kwacha Alliance (UKA), effective immediately,” he wrote.
Chilombo said the move was made after a period of reflection and consultation, noting that a focused commitment to CF would better serve the democratic process and the shared goal of national renewal.
He expressed gratitude to the UKA leadership, particularly the Council of Presidents (CoP), for their trust and collaboration during his tenure.
“At this juncture, I have resolved to dedicate my full time and energy toward the growth and consolidation of the Citizens First Party, where I currently serve as Chairperson for Mobilization and Member of the Central Committee,” he added.
