Zambia is celebrating a historic moment as Faith Bwalya, the newly crowned Miss World Zambia 2025, advanced to the quarter-finals of the 72nd Miss World pageant, becoming the first Zambian ever to do so.
The 24-year-old from Kitwe secured her spot on the global stage after winning the national crown in Lusaka on April 20, 2025.
Her elegance, intellect, and poise have captivated judges and fans alike at the ongoing international event in India.
Faith’s achievement is particularly significant as she now stands as the only African contestant among 22 quarter-finalists worldwide, drawing admiration across the continent.

Adding to her accolades, she also won the Head-to-Head Challenge for Africa, an honour awarded to top-performing contestants from each region.
