Lusaka’s social scene was lit up Saturday night as Jimmy and Kadi Karabassis tied the knot in a dazzling wedding celebration that featured Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz as the headline act.
Hosted at the luxurious Glynview Estate in New Kasama, the event drew a glamorous crowd, with some guests reportedly arriving in private jets ✈️—a testament to the event’s high-end nature.
Kadi, daughter of a well-known Lusaka-based businessman, exchanged vows with Jimmy Karabassis, a Chingola-based entrepreneur and owner of a mining company.
The opulence didn’t stop with the decor or the guest list.
South African DJ Tyler ICU and Zambia’s own Yo Maps also performed, delivering energetic sets that sealed the wedding’s reputation as one of the country’s most talked-about social events of the year.
