The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has called on Zambian entrepreneurs and corporations to actively prepare for joint ventures and strategic partnerships ahead of the inaugural Invest Zambia International Conference (IZIC) 2025, scheduled for July in Lusaka.

ZDA Director General, Albert Halwampa, said in a statement issued Friday that local businesses should strategically position themselves to engage with global investors and financiers expected to participate in the high-level event.

He emphasized that the landmark conference had already attracted international attention, with confirmed participation from leading investors and business delegates from countries including China, the United States, Malaysia, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, and Greece, among others.

“Zambian companies—whether large corporations or medium-sized enterprises—must seize this opportunity to showcase their potential, engage with global capital institutions, and explore synergies with international players eager to invest in Zambia,” Halwampa said.

He noted that IZIC 2025 will feature a distinguished lineup of global thought leaders and industry experts who will share insights, experiences, and best practices across various sectors of the economy.

The conference is expected to serve as a premier platform for investment promotion, knowledge exchange, and deal-making, with a focus on inclusive, sustainable, and long-term investments through joint ventures and strategic alliances.

Halwampa reaffirmed ZDA’s commitment to supporting local enterprises by enhancing their readiness and visibility ahead of the conference.
