Zambian R&B and Hip Hop artiste, Leo Moyo, popularly known as K’millian, has broken his silence after a prolonged break from the music scene and is set to release his highly anticipated studio album titled Full Circle on July 8, 2025.
K’millian, known for timeless hits such as Pa Ulendo, Kakabalika, Teti Ndale, and Nizakukonda, has been absent from the limelight for some time.
However, he returns with what he describes as a deeply personal and meaningful project aimed at reconnecting with his fans.
Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka on Wednesday, K’millian emphasized the importance of creating music that resonates with real-life experiences.
“The aim is to make music that people can connect with and find meaning in. Yes, I must acknowledge the pressure of creating music that meets expectations and resonates with audiences,” he said.
He revealed that work on the album began five years ago, involving multiple revisions and collaborations with both established and emerging producers.
Among them were the legendary Jerry Fingers and a new generation of music creators.
“The music style is current and should appeal to today’s listeners. It’s fun, vibrant, and of high quality,” he said.
K’millian explained that the sound has been refreshed without losing its original essence, blending the richness of his signature style with modern production.
Also speaking at the event, renowned producer Yaya Kaba, popularly known as Killer Beats (KB), praised K’millian’s ability to remain relevant in an evolving industry.
“He has managed to stay true to himself and consistently deliver quality music. I urge people to give this album a chance — one of his songs has already hit two million online listens,” KB said.
Sling Beats founder and longtime collaborator, Chali Bravo, also pledged continued support for K’millian, both as a producer and friend.
